MultiChoice will remain major provider of entertainment

MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, a South African Satellite television service provider, said on Monday it would remain the major provider of entertainment to Nigerian viewers.
The Regional Operations Manager (North) of the company, Mr Olalekan Lanrewaju, said this in an interview during of the company's customer week celebration in Abuja.
Lanrewaju said the week also to marked 20 years of operation in Nigeria adding that although the company had recorded successes in the country, there was still room for improvement.
"Without the customer, there is no way we can run our business. They are the kings of any business.
"This year marks the 20th anniversary of MultiChoice's operations in Nigeria and we started celebrations in September.
"Our customer base right now fluctuates. We are still growing and we are getting more customers on a regular basis.
"One of our primary objectives and our vision is to always bring entertainment; to surround our customers with a world of entertainment which is something they cannot afford to miss.
"Year in and year out we come up with different programmes that cut across all levels; irrespective of who you are, there is something for you on the DSTV or GOTV platform that could entertain the whole family.
"We are satisfied with doing business in Nigeria, but there is still room for growth.
"It is good having the business in Nigeria and as it is the relationship we've had over the 20 years of our operations in Nigeria, we’ve had a splendid relationship with our customers."
MultiChoice is the main satellite TV service provider in sub-Saharan Africa
