Check-Out P-Square New Album ‘Double Trouble’ ALBUM ART & TRACKLISTING




It’s the last quarter of the year aka the quarter for Nigerian albums for the holidays. The biggest names in African music drop their album this time of the year as one of the biggest music makers in Africa P-Square titles their upcoming album due September 12th, 2014 “Double Trouble”. The Album features rap superstar T.I in Ejeajo, African music icon Awilo, Jackson Five’s Jermaine Jackson and Dave Scott in ‘Bring it On’ and super producer Don Jazzy in Collabo.
Earlier this year, rumors from the squareville camp leaked about the group breaking up but they settled up now we have an album. Hopefully it won’t be their last album together; the album ‘Double Trouble’ features top notch production from Vtek, Charles Duke Mr P, Oscar and Mecca.

Davido has further spoken on his feud with fellow artist, Wizkid. In his latest reaction to the ongoing squabble, the ”Omobabalowo” crooner clearly said it was obvious from Wizkid’s tweet about his show in the United States that he never liked him. He bared his mind in a recent interview with the NET.

According to him, “Since I came out, there has always been this comparison between me and Wizkid, but there’s room for everybody, we are not doing the same thing. Funny enough, we used to see each other around at clubs and back stage of events, and there was no problem at all. I’ve always been a good fan of him, he makes good music, and it all started with a flight to New York. Funny enough, this is the second time we were on a flight together, the first time was when we went to Benin and it was a successful show.

Chime redeploys impeached dep gov to civil service

A former deputy governor of Enugu State, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi, has been redeployed to the state civil service.
A source in the Government House informed our correspondent that the development followed Onyebuchi’s impeachment, and the subsequent appointment of a new deputy governor.
Onyebuchi was a staff of the Enugu State Civil Service before his appointment to political office.

Customers shun other banks’ ATMs over N65 charge

Customers on Monday dumped the use of other banks’ Automated Teller Machines in a bid to avoid paying the newly introduced N65 ATM fee, which became effective that day.
The Central Bank of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Bankers’ Committee, had on August 13, 2014 announced the introduction of the N65 service fee on cash withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs.
The re-introduction of the fee came almost two years after the CBN and the Deposit Money Banks cancelled the N100 ATM charge in December 2012.

Snakes invade FG girls’ college in A’Ibom

Parents of the Federal Government Girls’ College, Ikot Obio Itong, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, have blamed the Federal Government for the invasion of the college’s dormitory by snakes.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the invasion of reptiles in the hostel was due to a bush which covered the back of the dormitory. It was also learnt that grass grow on top of the hostel’s roof.
Besides, some deep holes behind the hostel were said to have provided habitation for the snakes.
A member of the Parent Teacher Association of the college, Mr. Bassey Eyo, said the deplorable state of infrastructure in the college had created cause for concern.
