Samuel Eto'o scored his first Chelsea goal as Jose Mourinho's side came from behind to beat Cardiff at Stamford Bridge.
Jordon Mutch put Cardiff ahead in the first half before Eden Hazard levelled for Chelsea.
After the break Eto'o put the home side in front and Oscar and Hazard wrapped up the win to move Chelsea into second position in the Premier League.
Cardiff entered the game after a turbulent couple of weeks in south Wales but with the focus of attention back on the pitch, the Bluebirds took a shock lead at Stamford Bridge after just 10 minutes.
David Luiz, in a lapse of judgement, left a loose ball for an unaware Petr Cech and allowed Jordon Mutch to chip the goalkeeper from 18 yards, his second goal in three games.
It was another defensive error that led to the Chelsea equaliser as Eto'o dispossessed City goalkeeper David Marshall inside his penalty area and Hazard levelled from close range

.
Chelsea dominated possession but struggled to create chances for long periods in the game and Mourinho changed things around early in the second half, introducing both Fernando Torres and top goalscorer Oscar.
Shortly after, Eto'o put the hosts in front with a powerful shot after neat footwork and a clever pass from Hazard. Bo-Kyung Kim almost brought Cardiff level when he forced a good save out of Cech, but the floodgates then opened at the opposite end.
Oscar put Mourinho's side in firm control when he lobbed Marshall from 18 yards and Hazard wrapped up the win with a solo effort, albeit one that the goalkeeper will feel he should have saved.
