SUPERMODEL PAGEANT (NISM) 2015

The organizers of the Nigeria International Supermodel (NISM) Pageant

have begun the search for the Brain and Beauty Kings and Queens that would

take home the coveted royal crown in the 2015 edition of the pageant. The

2014edition saw the emergence of Mr. Pope and Miss Saadat, who has been

the Ambassador Ladysoft sanitary products. There are also Mr & Miss Africa,

Tourism, Top Model and Hot legs category winners.

The Nigeria International Supermodel Pageant (NISM) is an annual pageant that

holds in Nigeria every October. This year promises to be more exciting as mouth-
watering prizes have been lined up for the winner and the runners-up. The

deserving winners will be rewarded with an Official Car, feature in Nollywood

Movies with OgPlus Film International, represent Nigeria in an International

Pageant, grace major Runway Shows, Ladysoft Brand Ambassador, African

World Airlines Ambassador, Footwear supplies for Male and Female and many

other Award and Prizes.

NISM Pageant 2015 aims to our Beauty with a Heart tag line is Afro-Century

“The ART” Which is taken from an ancient throughout history, names, foods,

cultures, religions, genetics have jumped between Asia and Africa from the dawn

of humanity with blatant disregard for our social constructions.

But as much as culture drifts on the open ocean of human interaction and

technological development, pushed on by the winds of globalization. The ethics

of culture are pretty much static. And where Africa is concern, the centrality of

life-systems and functionality have always been at the root of all African cultures.

But when we look around us, we see a lot of things that relate to ‘ART’, ranging

from Music to Literature, Film, Photography, Poise, Etiquette, Sculpture, and

Paintings, it encompasses our reality.

Mr and Miss Nigeria International is open to young Nigeria age 18 to 28 years

with minimum qualification of high school result with international passport

Forms are out and are available at the rate of FIVE THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY

The senatorial primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held across the country yesterday witnessed several upsets, with many bigwigs suffering humiliating defeat.

CROSS RIVER

The major upset of the primaries was the crashing out of the race by Ndoma Egba


The Senate leader lost the battle to return to the Red Chamber. In the primaries for Central Senatorial Zone of Cross River held at Ikom Local Government Council Secretariat, Ikom, John Owan Eno polled 2017 votes while Ndoma Egba had 37 votes only.

Ambassador Mark Egbe scored 20 votes to clinch the third position in the tension-soaked race. Announcing the result, the returning officer, Mr. Uko Inaku, said: “By the power conferred on me, I do hereby state that Eno has been declared the winner having polled 276 votes out of 276 votes cast.”

A man, identified as one Elijah Nwankwo, from Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has allegedly died after drinking eight cans of Bullet Energy drink, following a bet with a friend.
This was contained in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Enugu State Command, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, on Friday.

The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Very Rev. Fr. Hassan Kukah, has said that in spite of challenges in the country, it would remain a united entity after the 2015 general elections.

Kukah stated this in Sokoto on Wednesday during a news conference on the Golden Jubilee celebration of the diocese which comprised Sokoto, Zamfara , Katsina and Kebbi states.
