Manchester City's Yaya Toure wants action on racist chants

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is "furious" and wants Uefa to act on racist chanting after claiming he was targeted by home fans during his side's 2-1 victory at CSKA Moscow.
The Ivory Coast international said he told referee Ovidiu Hategan about the chants as City came from behind to win the Champions League Group D tie.
City, for whom Sergio Aguero scored twice, will make a complaint to Uefa.
Toure said: "I'm not just disappointed, I'm furious."

MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, a South African Satellite television service provider, said on Monday it would remain the major provider of entertainment to Nigerian viewers.
The Regional Operations Manager (North) of the company, Mr Olalekan Lanrewaju, said this in an interview during of the company's customer week celebration in Abuja.
Lanrewaju said the week also to marked 20 years of operation in Nigeria adding that although the company had recorded successes in the country, there was still room for improvement.
"Without the customer, there is no way we can run our business. They are the kings of any business.
"This year marks the 20th anniversary of MultiChoice's operations in Nigeria and we started celebrations in September.
"Our customer base right now fluctuates. We are still growing and we are getting more customers on a regular basis.
"One of our primary objectives and our vision is to always bring entertainment; to surround our customers with a world of entertainment which is something they cannot afford to miss.
"Year in and year out we come up with different programmes that cut across all levels; irrespective of who you are, there is something for you on the DSTV or GOTV platform that could entertain the whole family.
"We are satisfied with doing business in Nigeria, but there is still room for growth.
"It is good having the business in Nigeria and as it is the relationship we've had over the 20 years of our operations in Nigeria, we’ve had a splendid relationship with our customers."

Ice Prince to hold album concert on November 23

Ice Prince is set to launch his highly anticipated new album 'Fire of Zamani' at a concert at the Eko Hotel on November 23.
It's #FOZ season and Ice Prince is ready to shut it down with his anticipated new album 'Fire of Zamani' and that will be starting with the album's release on October 28.
Nigerian music record label Chocolate City also announced that Ice Prince will be holding an concert to launch his second studio album at Eko Hotel on November 23.
His debut album 'Everybody Loves Ice Prince' was also launched at the same venue in 2011.
The 18-track 'Fire of Zamani' parades 14 individual features with cameo appearances from Loppy Music mates M.I, Jesse Jagz, Ruby Gyang. Others include Sunny Neji, Burna Boy, Olamide with three international collaborations with Wale Folarin, Chip and French Montana

Naeto C and AKA to host Channel O's

Naeto C and AKA have been announced as the hosts for the 10th Channel O Africa Music Video Awards.
The Nigerian and the South African rappers who are multiple Channel O award winners and nominees respectively said they were excited and honoured about hosting this year's awards show.
According to Channel O, Naeto C said, "I'm really excited to host this year's Channel O Africa Music Video Awards, especially on its 10th anniversary. To be a part of this experience is totally awesome and I look forward to sharing this magical moment with the rest of Africa on November 30th."
Meanwhile AKA released a statement saying, "I am very honoured to co-host this celebration of Africa's finest talent with Naeto C. I won my first Channel O Music Video award in 2011 and two years later, being in this position is a testament to my loyal following. Thank You to Channel O and the fans, it's going to be a classic night."
The 10th annual Channel O Africa Music Video Awards will be broadcast live on the 30th of November from the Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto, South Africa.

Basketmouth to miss African Kings of comedy in Nairobi

Bright 'Basketmouth' Okpocha has pulled out of the African King of Comedy show.
Bright 'Basketmouth' Okpocha says he will not be attending the upcoming African King of Comedy show slated for Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The event which has been backed up with a lot of campaign and publicity was supposed to feature Basket Mouth (Nigeria) alongside Eric Omondi (Kenya), Patrick Salvador, Kotilda and Ann Kaansime (Uganda), Zambia's Kasambwe (Zambia), Carl Ncube (Zimbabwe), Mandy (Nigeria) and lots more.
However, Basketmouth dropped the sad news on his Twitter on Sunday, October 20, announcing a new date.
''Okay my peeps in Nairobi. I won't be coming to Nairobi as promoted by the Africa's King of comedy...long story. But the good news is that I'm in Nairobi on the 9th of November for Nite of a 1000 laughs...Can't wait!!!!!''
The event which is to be hosted by Eric Omondi still holds at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) with other African comedians confirmed to attend.
The show had earlier been slated for September 28 but was postponed due to the terrorist attack at the Westgate Shopping Mall, Nairobi.
