“Two houses were demolished” – Boko Haram ammunition storage centre destroyed by troops in Kano
The attempt by Boko Haram insurgents to once again find a safe haven
for operation in Kano State has been nipped in the bud by security
troops.
Security agents yesterday found a cache of ammunition in a building
suspected to be a hideout for the members of the terrorist group in an
operation which led to the death of one man.
The troops embarked on the operation after receiving a tip-off about
the location of a bomb factory and an alleged plan to attack innocent
citizens during the approaching Sallah celebrations in the city which
has being enjoying relative peace.

Security agents acted on a tip-off to launch the
attack on Gubduwawa village in Gezawa Local Government Area where they
discovered a bomb factory.
The two houses involved were demolished.
The person killed is believed to be the son of the landlord, who rented the house to the suspected terrorists.
