AC Milan's Mario Balotelli

Mario Balotelli: AC Milan star banned for 'intimidating' referee

Mario Balotelli has been banned for three matches after using "intimidating and insulting" words to the referee after AC Milan's 2-1 defeat by Napoli.
He was sent off at the final whistle after clashing with Napoli's Valon Behrami and arguing with the official.
In a typically eventful performance, the Italy striker missed a penalty for the first time in his career before superbly netting in stoppage time.

When Noel Gallagher met Mario Balotelli - in full

Milan may decide to appeal against the ex-Manchester City player's ban.
If the suspension is not overturned, he will miss the Serie A games against Bologna, Sampdoria and Juventus.
Balotelli, who also hit the crossbar against Napoli, received his second booking after remonstrating with Behrami and referee Luca Banti at the San Siro.
Italian league bosses have also ordered Milan to close its Curva Sud stand for the next home game against Sampdoria as punishment for racist chanting by supporters during the Napoli defeat.
It was another miserable night for the Rossoneri, who are 11th in the Italian top flight after taking four points from their first four matches.
Napoli, who have made a 100% winning start, led through Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos's sixth-minute opener before summer signing Gonzalo Higuain doubled their lead eight minutes after half-time.

Fallible Mario

Mario Balotelli missed the first penalty of his career against Napoli - he had netted his previous 21 attempts.
Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who joined on a season-long loan from Liverpool in the summer, maintained the two-goal lead by saving Balotelli's 61st-minute penalty.
Balotelli, 23, was Milan's biggest attacking threat and, after having another penalty appeal rejected, reduced the deficit in added time with a wonderful 20-yard curling shot.
Afterwards, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri refused to comment on Balotelli's dismissal.
"I don't know what to say about the protests at the end," he said. "It's better not to create confusion, the referee has already made up his mind."

I Auction My Clothes To My Friends On Twitter Because I Can’t Wear Them Twice- Yvonne Vixen Ekwere

The tv presenter told reporters the reason why celebrities like her can not wear a cloth twice.
Whenever I am on the Red Carpet and paparazzi take my pictures, I always say ‘chei! So I will not wear this dress again?’
The pictures will be plastered everywhere including the Internet and magazines. It spoils show for me. It is not that we don’t like wearing a particular dress for more than one event, but we’ll rather not do it.
But you will abuse me if I repeat a dress. People would write that we repeated a dress. Because of that, I wear a dress and since I know I will not wear it again, I dash it out. I give my assistant my clothes.
I give to family members and friends as well. But then, I auction my clothes to my friends on twitter.

Rock City FM Fines Its OAP For Wishing RuggedMan Happy Birthday

When I came across this report, I was shocked as hell. This event took place yesterday, an OAP of Rockcity 101.9 FM Abeokuta Edward Fortune aka Fawtchune Toh Badt was on the afternoon shift between 4 – 4.30pm; that same day happened to be rapper, Ruggedman’s birthday, so the OAP took the liberty to wish Ruggedman a very happy birthday. Apparently, this didn’t go down well with the Rock City FM boss. The Rock City FM boss stated that the congratulatory message was an advert and hence must be paid for. Nobody really knows if Ruggedman and the Rock City FM management have has some unresolved issues because I don’t see anything wrong in wishing someone happy birthday on air. The OAP, Mr. Fortune said “Happy Birthday to Rugged Man” and he was surprisingly fined 40,000 Naira. Rock City FM, 101.9FM is in located in Abeokuta – Ogun state. :
